Muharram holds great importance in the Muslim community, honouring the legacy of Imam Hussain (RA) and his companions who, during the tragedy of Karbala, faced severe hardships. They were deprived of basic necessities, including water, under the scorching heat. Despite their sufferings, they stood firm, fighting for justice and the rights of people until the end.
How will we promise a Good Life ?
Millions today still suffer from the lack of clean drinking water, leading to the consumption of contaminated water and resulting in life-threatening diseases. In many communities, orphans, the elderly, and widows are among the most vulnerable groups. These individuals are often overlooked by society and struggle on a daily basis due to the absence of resources such as clean water. Without these fundamental needs being met, their health and overall well-being are severely affected.
Our Mission Muharram campaign aims to honour the bravery and sacrifice of the Ahl al-Bayt by providing clean, drinkable water to those in need, ensuring protection from diseases.
Water for All
In recent decades, water consumption has increased worldwide. Yet, safe drinking water remains a critical issue, demanding immediate attention. In many regions, getting clean water is a daily struggle. Our campaign focuses on building fresh water facilities to support these communities, ensuring no one is denied safe clean drinkable water.
